How old is “too old” for cartoons?

It’s always confused me when people say “aren’t you a little too old for cartoons?”
Exactly how old is too old for cartoons? When is that magic age when you’re just supposed to turn off the Saturday morning cartoons and start watching the news?
(Not that there really are any Saturday morning cartoons anymore! Anyone notice that?)

I am 26 years old, and I’m not ashamed to admit that I still watch kid shows!

I’ve seen almost every episode of Hannah Montana, That’s so Raven, the suite life of Zac and Cody (I swear there’s one more..)

I RENTED The That’s so sweet life of Hannah Montana. YEAH THAT’S RIGHT! WHAT’S IT TO YA? lol

The other day I watched The Little Mermaid III: Ariel’s Beginning, and LOVED IT!. And oh yes, shed a tear or two.

While I’m on the subject of movies, I also love musicals. I love mamma mia!

But, I’m not a total girl! I love “dude” flix too. I love horror movies! I definetly dig action and comedy. Comedy is my favorite, of course.

But I’ll still watch Mr. Rogers and Sesame street too. I do draw the line at Barney and teletubbies, that’s just wierd… But that Between the Lions show on PBS is really really good. I definitely recommend it.

I don’t feel ashamed of any of this.

So exactly how old is TOO old?

And what is the magic age to stop trick-or-treating. (I think I was 20)

There is no magic age to stop trick-or-treating, just a magic age where you need to start dragging along small children to keep up appearances! LOL

As for cartoons, my 49 year old father still enjoys them, so I don’t think us in our twenties really need to worry.

Hahahaha! Yes, that is very true. I drag my Godchildren along with me now too!
